Witchford Scout Group

Our Scout Troop is for young people, aged between 10½ and 14½ years. A young person can come into the Troop at 10 and may stay until they are 14½ years old. The Scout Troop is the third and final Section in our Scout Group. However Scouts can then join anyone of the local Explorer groups

What we do

Our programme is designed to covers a wide range of areas and activities, so there is something for everyone. It also gives the opportunity for Scouts to learn and have fun at the same time. The majority of the activities we do are based on team work, so that Scouts can develop this and other essential skill that they will need for later in life.

We feel being outdoors is important, and therefore half the programme is given over to taking part in both the traditional Scouting skills, such as camping, survival and cooking as well a wide range of adventurous activities.
